Global Masters Academy (GMA) Student Guidelines, Terms and Conditions

Admission Process

Students should fill up the Admission form available at our office, submit alongwith following required documents and pay the admission fee.

Documents required : Three passport size photographs, self attested copy of proof of Name, Address, Date of Birth/Age, Parents/Guardian address proof, contact details, highest qualification mark sheet & certificate, experience certificate (if any).

Payment of Fee

Tuition Fee to be paid before joining the class on the commencement date. Fee can be paid in cash/DD/transfer to Bank A/c favouring Global Masters Academy. In case of cash payment, it should be paid at our office and ensure to obtain cash receipt.

In case opting for installments, 1st installment to be paid before joining class and subsequent installments as instructed by the Academy.

In case of failure to pay the fee on the due date student may be allowed to attend the class only after payment. If fee remains unpaid for more than 2 weeks from the due date, student name shall be struck-off and the student has to pay Rs. 500/- for re-admission.

Course material charges to be paid at the time collecting the material before commencement of class. In case study material is lost/misplaced, student can obtain duplicate set against payment of Rs. 1000/- per book/material.

Applicable Govt Taxes levied from time to time will also be payable by the Student.

Guidelines for Fee Refund

Please note that Admission Fee and Course Material charges once paid are non refundable.

No Refund of tuition fee in case student is expelled due to indiscipline or any misconduct (referred in D).

Submit the filled-in refund application along with Original Fee Receipt(s) and Original Student Identity Card at the Reception.

Admissible Tuition fee refund may be processed within 15 days of written request and effected by transfer through RTGS/NEFT to the Account Number provided by the Student/Parent.

Guidelines for Fee Refund

1 Student discontinues the course due to established shortcoming of Faculty/teaching methodology/course structure within 1 week of class commencement date (to be notified in writing) 50% of Tuition Fee paid
2 Student fails to report to class after paying tuition fee for valid, justifiable and acceptable reason and requests for refund. 25% of Tuition Fee paid
3 Student drops out after 1 week of class commencement No refund

Attendance, Punctuality, Discipline, Disciplinary action

Student should ensure attendance, punctuality, follow the instructions of Faculty/Staff and strictly adhere to discipline.

Students coming late by more than 10 minutes will not be allowed to enter the classroom.

Use of Mobile phone is prohibited in the class. Mobiles should be switched off while in the class.

If any student has any grievance, it should be reported to the Centre Manager/Managing Director immediately.

Student should not - use abusive/derogatory/intimidating language, sloganeering, disrupt class or curricular activity, cause disturbance to Faculty, administrative work, including any attempt to prevent Faculty or staff member from carrying on his/her work and any act like to cause such disruption; damaging or defacing Academy property, equipment, facilities, etc.

A student may be expelled from the Academy due to irregular attendance, poor performance, indiscipline, misconduct, misbehavior/indecent behaviour with co-students/Faculty/Staff, indulging in any illegal activity, use of banned substances tobacco/drugs/alcohol) in the Academy premises, or such acts affecting the peaceful running of the Academy.

In case if any parent/guardian misbehaves with any Faculty/staff member of Global Masters Academy, the concerned student can be expelled from the Academy.

The decision of the Management in this regard will be final and binding on the student/parent.

General guidelines

Students are advised not to carry any valuables/personal belongings to the Academy. The management is not responsible for any loss/theft or damage to such items.

The Academy shall not be responsible for any loss/injury to students due to factors beyond its control such as any natural calamity, floods, fire, electric short circuit etc.

The Academy reserves its right to make any alteration in its programs/venue/timing and days of classes without any prior notice and shall be binding on the students and the parents.

On occasions, the Academy may take photographs and videos for promotion/publicity and by joining the course you are confirming that you are aware of this and have no objections to your image or voice appearing in any material issued by the Academy.

The date of commencement of the batch will be considered and not the date of joining of any student in the Academy.

Students are expected to behave responsibly and help the Academy for better upkeep and maintenance of the property and equipment.

Eatables and any type of drinking items are strictly prohibited in the classrooms.

Violation of guidelines (not of serious nature) may invite penalty/fine as may be decided by the Management.

While the Academy Faculty aim to enhancing the performance of a student, it is essential that the student displays continuing, participative interest and involvement during the classes.

Seats are limited and will be filled in first come first serve basis. The Academy may or may not accept the enrolment of a candidate as per its own discretion.

In case of any dispute, the decision of the Managing Director, Global Masters Academy shall be final and binding on all Students/Parents. In case failure of amicable settlement, disputes are subject to jurisdiction of Courts in Ernakulam.

Global Masters Academy is only a training centre and does not provide or guarantee any student any job.

COMMUNICATION TO STUDENTS

Communication regarding class schedules/changes/cancellation/administrative decisions will be by E-mail/SMS/WhatsApp/ website. Students are responsible to check for updates from time to time.

Any change of address or telephone number should be notified in writing to the office within 10 days.

STUDENT FEEDBACK & ASSISTANCE

In order to improve the quality of services provided to students, the Academy actively seeks, appreciates and acts upon Feedback from students about its services from time to time. Students/Parents can approach the reception, with their queries for assistance guidance.

DECLARATION BY THE STUDENT

I have read and understood the above GMA Student Guidelines, Terms and Conditions and I am aware of the services Global Masters Academy shall provide to the students.

I understand that my performance depends on the continuing/participating interest on my part. I understand that the Academy has no role in the conduct and or outcome of any competitive examination which I may appear.

I declare and undertake that I will strictly adhere to the GMA Guidelines, Terms and Conditions at all times and that any violation I shall be penalized/expelled from the Academy.
